this is a beautiful painting Dragan! The painting is nice and loose and in my opinion would be better painted out to the egdes.

YUMAN says:

Dragan, you keep this up and I'm going to have to change my palette to lighter colors and a lighter touch! And, I think you could have gone less to the edge. Keep up this good work.

Junk says:

I don't disagree with Yumans point, if it was a painting of just the flowers on a white background. Once there is a hint of bracground,it should go to the edge.

Simply wonderful, Dragan! Great colors, brushwork style, composition, texture and looseness! Tell us about the process of doing it, brushes employed etc. 5, sure!

Hi all, thanks a lot Marcelo, for asking! Becouse my English is bad, I can learn not too much from English texts - in such a way I experiment much and gladly. This picture is also result of an experiment. So far I can remember, it was something like that: I worked on Canvas Texture Paper (from Trimoon's TEXTURES). As first I made Quick Clone from photo in Oil (I think it was Fine Camel Oil) I copy this on first layer. On this (first) layer I go with Windows, Underpainting, Smart Blur (about 80%, I think). Then I erase this layer partly, more or less. Then I made 2. layer: on this layer I painted with (this is the goal, I think!) Pastels, Soft Pastel Pencil 3. Try they all this Brush on blank canvas, and they will see, what I thus mean! But with larger size (dependent from painting size) – size 10 and more - it gives a great texture! Well, on this 2. layer I painted with Pastels, Soft Pastel Pencil 3, large und variable sizes, and mostly free hand. When I was contently, I Drop all, from Canvas Texture Paper I made Apply Surface Texture Shine 0, Amount about 8%. I translated this text with on-line translator – I hope it help! Best regards and wishes, Dragan

很好看,叶子很像水彩的效果啊。looks nice ,the detail of leavs looks like watercolor ,but the highlight could be more smooth and lighter on the edge
