Hi George, You get the "title of the week" winner! Great expression and wonderful brushes. The subtle blending of the red hood brings out the young lady's features. I apologize for calling it "Young Man". Thanks for correcting my error, Mike. 5++

Ted I believe little red ridding hood was a girl. George as usual has captured her expression masterfully. Looks like my Granddaughters pouty face. Boys can't do this "pity me" look as well as little girls. George what brush did you use? Mike

Mike-Again, thanks for the compliments. Iw used Living Oil Brushes the applied one of Jermey's brush, Den's Funky Chunky all over the image to loosen it up.

Nice frame for the face, great work on the light and darks. You layered the cloth nicely. Honestly, it reminds me of a modern-day Rembrandt. 5

The framing and brush work on this is excellent. Also love your colors you used in the background, very rich and strong. I agree title of! the week Wow! This looks like a Rembrandt George! My comments will be long and detailed "because that is how I roll" If you don't say kind things about others work then they never know your views. And we are all here to learn from each other...

SD Painter says:

The color wheel tels you two things in addition to many. Using the oposit compliment as a background will pop the painting foreground, even make it look vibrant. Alsonis good for ,aking rich shadows,.
